WordCamp Toronto 2008

September 18th, 2008 Posted in BackSpace Blabber, Open Source, wordpress

I’ve been asked to speak at WordCamp Toronto this. I am very excited to see what others are saying and doing in the community. This should be a great 2 day event. I will discussing the power of plugins and how they can make or break a wordpress site. If there is time I may talk a bit about customizing and developing plugins. WordCamp starts Oct4th at Centennial College.

A bit about WordCamp…

For the uninitiated, WordCamp is an informal gathering of WordPress users where we teach, learn, eat, drink and generally have fun with one another. There have been dozens of other WordCamps all over the world. Toronto’s is being hosted by the Centennial College Student Association Inc., who base lots of their Web site on the Word Press platform.
