Well, I haven’t had much time to delve into this new beta, but so far so good!
FF3 comes packed with many new features, for starters the location bar, or “awesome bar” has been updated to make it easier for users to scan what it is there looking for. The content has been more defined and better organized. The location bar now has an autocomplete function which separates the page title and the web address. Everything is color coded and matched terms are highlighted…google much!!! ;)

The Go button has also been renovated a bit, it is hidden when you are not entering an address and replaced with the star and feed icons.
Search features have been fully enhanced. You can search History , tags and bookmarks with an advanced search interface that allows you to search, History, Bookmarks Menu, Bookmarks Toolbar, All Bookmarks or a selected folder. You can also search by visited date, web address or title. What I love most about this feature is the ability to add as many rules as you like, plus you can save the search as a dynamic folder that updates as your bookmarks and history. I must say Very cool!!!

I am waiting to hear more about APNG support, an area which you all us BackSpace Blabbers and PHUG members have an affinity for. I am hopping to be able to run through some of the technical specs and see how and where this technology is being applied.
